On 12-12-82 Johnny Goodrich attended a New Years Eve Service at a Church in Baytown, Tx. and became an Usher a few months later.
Cyndi Finley and her parents also attended that Church.
Johnny and Cyndi were invited to dinner at a mutual friend's home on Dec. 08, 1983 where they were introduced. Up until then, they only knew each other in passing as Bro. Johnny and Sis. Cyndi. They talked all night and discovered that they had a lot in common.
They went on their first date on Dec. 12, 1983 and since they were walking with the Lord in the same direction, they joined hands and kept on walking. The were married April 18,1984 and have faithfully served together in the ministry for over 40 years.
