With God's Help and Grace I overcame...
I have been through pure hell with pain that I wouldn't wish on anyone, not even my worst enemy, yet I refuse to let that pain destroy my peace or take away my desire to love or to be loved.
The scars are a reminder of where I came from and what I've had to endure in order to make a difference in this world. I earned the right to speak out about the very things that weighed me down.
I will NOT be silenced from my experiences, NOR apologize for telling MY story any longer.
I am proud of who I've become through it all because I put in a lot of hard work to be able to overcome the obstacles that were intended to take me out.
The calling of God on my life and the testimony behind my story needs to be shares in order to help those who need hope in Jesus!
- Trust issues.
- Extreme insecurities.
- Cutting.
- Drinking.
- The desperate need to fill voids that only lead to addictions.
- I have fought different battles of cancer, brain, kidney, and liver tumors.
- Blood clots.
- Blood disorder.
- Blood infections.
- Stroke.
- Hole in my heart.
- Hole in my lung.
- Severe migraines.
- Internal bleedings
- Spent countless days/weeks in the hospitals and in the ICU.
- Car accidents.
- Held hostage for hours.
- Brutally raped on different occasions.
- Used as payments and leverage for gang related activities.
- I've had weapons (guns, knives, and scissors) held to my head and forced to beg for my life while being recorded and laughed at.
- I've endured the pain of miscarriages.
- Adultery.
- Divorce.
- Eviction.
- Homelessness.
- Not a penny to my name.
- I've lost close friends and family members due to suicide and by murder.
- I have been lied about, mistreated, used, and taken advantage of.
- I have loved and trusted people who broke their promises to never hurt or abandon me.
- I have felt severe loneliness, guilt, shame, anger, and embarrassment.
- Told I was broken, damaged, hard to love and not worth fighting for.
